Homecoming=MUMS!!!

I think Homecoming is 1 of my favorite things to celebrate during football season. I have linked some super fun things!!! Here are the links to mum creators, inspiration groups, and cute pins from Pinterest.

A few tips from my personal experience. 

1) For the mum flower, the amount of flowers is based on the grade of the mum wearer. Freshman = 1 mum flower. Sophomore is 2 flowers. Junior is 3 flowers. Seniors are 4 flowers.

2) Senior MUMS are now tradionaly black or white. 

3) Be creative! A mum should tell a story about the child. What are their interests? What sports do they play? What's their favorite restaurants? And don't be afraid to think outside box. Last year, I used 5 Surprise Mini Brand blind bag toys in a boys garder. He loved Sonic and I added a sonic cup and fries in his garder. I have also seen some people add their child's ribbons from their sports in the MUMS. I saw a swimmer add some of her ribbons she won into her mum. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! 

4) It will be expensive no matter what. Just process it emotionally and adjust accordingly.
